In addition to making specialty honeys, they also make pure beeswax candles, offer educational programs and beekeeping supplies.

A common challenge for small business owners is to keep overhead low while continuing to market, manage and revise their products. WCA needed a robust, yet cost-effective solution that would meet their requirements not only now, but as they continue to grow. With over 115 different products, an important requirement was the ability for Dan to easily update and manage these products himself, without the need for hiring expensive IT personnel.

Founded in 1981, the American Film Market (AFM) has grown steadily to become the premiere global marketplace where all of Hollywood's decision makers and trendsetters gather under one roof. Unlike a film festival, the AFM is a marketplace where production and distribution deals are closed. In just eight days, more than $800 million in business deals will be sealed.

In order to facilitate these deals, AFM hired Mavice to create an online tool for exhibitors and distributors. For the first time, AFM's online portal provided trade show exhibitors the ability to submit their film screening requests 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days of the year. The fully integrated back office administrative tool (shown above) allows the AFM staff to fully monitor, edit, and schedule these requests to the appropriate theaters. The administrative tool also includes dozens of web reports and is fully integrated into their email system. In addition, the software also includes a publicly available searchable online screening schedule. Users can browse multiple categories such as film title, genre, language, company, or screening schedule. Furthermore, a complete listing of a company's previously screened films at the market can be retrieved. Mavice also collaborated with Google to provide exhibitors he ability to stream their film trailers on the site.

Designing for the Future Mavice's creativity and technology expertise helped bring AFM's staff, exhibitors and distributors closer together then ever before. Knowing that AFM would be looking to the future to provide an online store for individuals to purchase films this site was designed from the start to be scalable and customizable and is currently posed to meet the future needs of AFM.
